Hi!
My name is Isabel Klish, although I often go by Izy, and I’m from Lawrence, Kansas. I’m a student at the University of Washington, Seattle, and currently studying Art within the painting and drawing concentration.
Inspiration from my work often comes from the experiences and sights of my world and those around me. I love to take what is uncomfortable, hidden, or stereotypical and create a narrative of normalization or exposure to the audience. I am drawn to the use of highly saturated color schemes, unique textures, and facial expressions to help tell the story of my work.
I have been on a path of exploring as many media as possible and working on building my foundations. My ultimate goal is to become a full-time artist. Whether it be through commissions, gallery work, or social media, I hope to continue my work and passion.
Thank you for supporting my dream and following my journey!
