What are the hidden experiences of women in society? My portfolio looks to showcase the unspoken, often ignored situations women find themselves in that are culturally normalized. These feelings and experiences are widespread due to the societal pressures people face everyday. My work shows a combination of both my own challenges and the challenges I've researched about those around me; shining light on the reality of what it means to be a girl. By exploring different textures, I learned and revised my work to continue pushing how to add new feelings to my series.
